The Environment Sub-committee of Godrej Baug launched the Plantation Challenge to inspire residents—young and old—to grow, nurture, and connect with nature.
Kicked off on May 1, 2025, with pot and seed kit distribution, the event saw enthusiastic participation from over 65 residents. Weekly photo submissions track each plant’s growth, with creative twists like naming the plant and decorating pots.
To keep spirits high, the challenge includes categories like:
🏆 Healthiest Plant
🎨 Most Creative Pot
💚 Best Overall Care
The event culminates on June 15, 2025, with a final judging round — but the goal goes far beyond the competition. By encouraging children and adults alike to take ownership of their plants, we hope to instill a lasting sense of responsibility for our natural surroundings.
